As a pastor for over a decade, Tara, or Pastor "T" as affectionately known by her congregation, faced a pivotal decision when relaunching City Changers of Memphis. Would she continue to pastor or shift focus to her nonprofit work in the community? Following prayerful consideration alongside her husband Marc, they chose to forgo traditional church leadership, opting instead to create a place for meaningful worship experiences for those in need - Redeemed Empowerment Center - Memphis (The REC Memphis) formed.

On Thursday evenings, at our Knight Arnold Rd. location,  we hold THURSDAY NIGHT LIVE, a unique vibe to connect with faith. On Sunday mornings, at our Houston Levee Rd location, we offer BASKETBALL CHURCH, where hoops, faith, and community come together.
